</ServiceInformation>
<Cause>
"plate did not register on punch": the plate did not register after the Trendsetter jogged
it towards the punch. Check the values of "alpos prd" and "alpos pji". Watch the plate being
pushed towards the punch. It should be stopped roughly 8mm from the stops, then be pushed
towards the punch in up to 10 steps of "alpos pji" mm.
</Cause>
<Cause>
"plate not free of punch": the Trendsetter was not able to pull the plate out of the
punch after punching. Remove the plate manually, checking for resistance when pulling it out.
</Cause>
<Cause>
"Timeout waiting for plate to pass": the firmware thinks a previous plate has not yet left the punch.
Check the plate sensor (sensor on the processor side of the punch). Reset the Trendsetter, and see if
the problem comes back.
</Cause>
<Cause>
"Plate still touching stops": the punch sent back a message that most likely indicates that the plate
is still touching the in-line registration stops after the Trendsetter backed the plate away. The plate
may not be pulled far enough back - check the value of "alpos pjo".
</Cause>
<Cause>
The other timeout errors shouldn't happen under normal operation. If the punch isn't working properly,
it should report mechanical errors instead of the Trendsetter firmware timing out. There could be a
communication problem.
</Cause>
